A multifunction jetting machine (also known .as a combination jet-vac unit or multi-utility sewer machine) is an industrial system designed for high-pressure line scouring, heavy sludge vacuuming, pipeline de-siltation, and surface hydro-demolition. Instead of relying on single-purpose pumps, it integrates high-pressure water displacement with a high-CFM vacuum blower and recycling filtration on a single truck chassis or stationary skid.
Core System Components
- High-Pressure Triplex Plunger Pump: Delivers water at pressures ranging from 150 to 500+ bar (2,100 to 7,200+ psi) to break down grease, scale, mineral deposits, and tree roots.
- Positive Displacement Vacuum Pump: Roots blower or liquid ring pump generating continuous vacuum suction to lift wet silt, gravel, and heavy liquid waste from underground lines or sumps.
- Dual-Compartment Debris & Water Tank: Features an internal baffle wall to segregate clean supply water from vacuumed sludge, often fitted with hydraulic tipping for fast unloading.
- Hydraulic Hose Reel & Boom Assembly: Motorized, articulated overhead boom allowing 180-360 degrees rotation for precise hose placement over deep manholes.
